Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote form only requests gender, date of birth, self-reported health level, tobacco use, desired death benefit and term length. Those six facts are enough for carriers to return prices. Your name, street address, phone, and detailed health records are only collected if you move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Rates quoted are what carriers are willing to offer for the health class you selected. They're offered for information only. Your final premium is determined by the carrier after underwriting, which can confirm, improve or move you to a different class. This site makes no coverage guarantees and no rates are binding.
What happens when I click Apply?
You name your selected carrier, and the application starts on the carriers' secure application system, with your answers already entered. You're able to pause and resume, and sign your name digitally. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance agency (License 0B75129), manages the application process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier's rules, your requested amount, and your responses. Carriers with accelerated underwriting can decide quickly for qualified applicants without requiring an exam; the quote details for each product indicate whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required for that particular policy.
Is a longer term better?
Your term defines your obligation. If your financial obligations end in 20 or 30 years, choose a term that matches. Longer terms lock in rates for more time but cost more monthly. The quote tool lets you see side-by-side pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year durations.
Does this site sell my information?
No, we do not. The quote tool collects no names or contact data, we never market or resell any visitor information, and our measurement system doesn't use cookies. Visit the privacy policy to see the precise details of what we track and how.
